Proiezione del film “L’oro di Roma”

I Cineforum del Dopolavoro Ferroviario di Roma.

Riprendono le nostre attività di cine forum con la proposta di un film di Carlo Lizzani, girato negli anni ’60, quando il cinema italiano tornò a occuparsi della nostra storia appena trascorsa, rompendo il velo di silenzio che era calato negli anni ’50. L’oro di Roma tratta lo scambio imposto dai tedeschi agli ebrei romani di 50 chili di oro per evitare la deportazione di 200 fra i loro uomini. L’oro fu raccolto e consegnato entro il 26 settembre, in meno di quarantotto ore, ma i tedeschi non mantennero la loro parola procedendo alla razzia del Ghetto di Roma solo venti giorni più tardi. Vi aspettiamo numerosi.
